As an update to my previous posts, I am still hunting the "Jakarta Spammer", as I have come to call a particularly persistent spammer at Wikidot.com - since at least some of the IP addresses he has used can be traced back to Jakarta, Indonesia, and he tends to spam for Indonesian websites in the local language (which conveniently makes it easy to find his spam).
Unfortunately, it seems that IP-based blocks will be difficult to implement for this guy, as he changes his IP address constantly (judging by those he uses for anonymous edits) - he has used the following in the last three weeks alone:
